Our Engineering Department specializes in energy efficiency measures with regard to residential dwellings as well as commercial and educational buildings, and AI is certified to ISO 9001. FURTHER INFORMATION ON STATUTORY INSPECTIONS

The purpose of energy labelling buildings in Denmark is to further energy savings, also including reduction of CO₂ emissions.

 

Our energy labelling services include a review of the building - and based on this, the building parts are registered and possible energy-saving measures are explored. An EMO report is then prepared, stating the energy-class of the building in accordance with the energy label system, and in addition to this, an energy plan is also prepared, recommending energy-saving measures.

 

For which type of buildings is energy labelling required?

New-builds - before they are put into operation or the notice of completion is received.

Existing, privately owned buildings over 1,000 square metres.

Public buildings over 250 square metres.

Buildings - for instance - when sold, let out or if an occupancy agreement is transferred in a housing co-operative.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON ENERGY AUDITS

Our engineers and consultants have extensive experience and specialist know-how with regard to buildings, including technical installations. You can sign up for our energy audit services covering your property - such services include inspections of the technical installations by our consultants once or several times a year. Together with the caretaker of the building, the settings, temperatures, etc. are registered, and we give advice as well as instructions on how to ensure the best possible operation. Once this has been done, a technical report is prepared, stating any made observations, possible recommendations on measures to be taken as well as any registered problems and defects.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON TRAINING OF OPERATING STAFF

Cooperation and motivational efforts are the keywords and will enable your operating staff to obtain cost reductions as well as environmental improvements through reduction of CO₂ emissions - all because they obtain more know-how on operation of technical installations, energy management, energy efficiency, etc. Our recommended energy management measures focus on achievable cost reductions.

 

We are fully prepared to inspect the technical systems together with the operating staff of your property and give recommendations with regard to the settings of the automatics, etc. - and this will ensure the best possible operation of the property's heating, water and ventilation systems. The previously mentioned settings are verified on a regular basis, if you have signed up for our energy audit services for your property, but you are also welcome to request our services, if there are any operating staff replacements.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON OUR ENERGY MANAGEMENT SERVICES - AI-energivagt

Together with energy labelling and energy audits, energy management services are part of a set of tools, creating the prerequisites necessary for proper energy management of your property. Combined with the cooperation between the energy manager of your property and our energy consultant, our web-based energy management system - AI-energivagt - makes it possible to promptly give a detailed account on and assessment of the heating, water and power consumption, and is thus  an excellent method for checking, if the resources are used efficiently when compared to budget. AI-energivagt is using the caretaker's monthly meter readings for the property's heating, water and power consumption. You can choose to register your property's consumption of resources yourself and print the reports from the internet, or permit us to enter the consumption data and print the reports.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON ANALYSIS OF HEATING ACCOUNTS

Have you received any complaints in connection with the heating accounts, or do you have to make corrections for exposed location? Using the prepared heating accounts, we make a number of calculations, including assessment of possible adjustments/changes to be made in connection with the allocation keys, correction factors and any possible spread payments.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON INDOOR CLIMATE AND MOULD

Problems with mould in homes are on the rise, and we provide indoor climate investigations. These investigations include a technical inspection, and possibly destructive tests, measurements as well as analyses. The investigations end up with a report, stating the causes for the indoor climate problems and remedial measures to be taken.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON PLUMBING SYSTEMS AND ENERGY SUPPLY

Our numerous contacts within the fields of plumbing systems and energy supply give us an advantage, making our energy consultants and engineers the perfect business partners. We are specially trained within all areas of plumbing and are in close contact with the leading manufacturers of plumbing products. This ensures that we supply the very best consultancy services in connection with acquiring new or renovating existing plumbing systems. We also have extensive know-how in relation to various energy sources and are used to doing business with the utility companies. For instance, we can provide consultancy services in connection with contract negotiations, or when converting from one energy source to another.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON DESIGN

When performing energy audits, also for energy labelling purposes, various issues will often be identified, concerning the property and/or the heating installations, e.g. if they do not perform efficiently or are outdated. We provide services, analyzing these issues in detail, and subsequently prepare a project plan to improve existing conditions. Your assigned energy consultant will be in charge of small projects, and such projects will be handled relatively quickly. Major analysis/design projects will be handled by our Design Department - and our experienced engineers will be in charge of the project.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION ON SUPERVISION

During execution of your project, continuous supervision, defects inspections, etc.  will be necessary. Your assigned energy consultant has extensive supervision experience in such matters. Supervision is sometimes followed by the preparation of photo documentation, minutes of the site meetings, lists of defects, etc. - and we are in steady contact with the contractors and other relevant parties as well as follow up on issues with all involved parties.
